The Kinleys-Fish Cycling team started after the final stage of the 2007 Tour of Anchorage. Jim Fish had the idea to start a team after observing the other teams at the event which led with the statement ” When I have a team…”. That simple statement started as a comment of sarcasm and as the day progressed, began to gain legitimacy. The team began to take shape after the signing of Kinleys Restaurant & Bar as the title sponsor along with the creation of Fish Cycling under Jim and Joe Fish, forming the team under its present name. The team later picked up sponsorship deals from Speedway Cycles and Midnightsun Brewery. This has since been expanded to include Chilkoot Charlies, Synapse Productions, Peripheral Designs, Inlet Media and Jan Roovers Associates. The team has also picked up key industry sponsors in the way of  Kenda USA tires and Albabici importers who are sponsoring us through the Nalini brand.

We have built a team on the platform of racing, promoting exciting competition throughout the race calender and promoting the sport of cycling throughout the Anchorage community. The riders of the team have been focused on personal improvement and expansion of team’s image. We have been working hard on public recognition  of our team and plan on becoming fixture of Anchorage cycling.
